Lagree Class Review: House of Yage, Marbella

Marbella has become increasingly vibrant, even during what used to be considered the low season and dare we say, low season might not even exist anymore. The city now feels alive year-round: busy yet peaceful, with new openings constantly reshaping the scene.

As you already know, we’re devoted fans of Palm Sporting Club: the first Lagree studio we tried (you can read our Marbella Guide #1 here) but we’re always curious to discover new spots. Naturally, House of Yage quickly made its way to the top of our list.

House of Yage is located closer to the centre of Marbella, and from the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a charming café space alongside the Lagree studio. The workout room itself is filled with natural light and overlooks a small, greenery-filled courtyard, offering a sense of privacy while still feeling open and airy.

The space has been thoughtfully designed, with inspiring quotes on the walls and attention given to even the smallest details. Everything feels intentional, clean, and carefully curated, creating an atmosphere that almost feels like a peaceful retreat.

We opted for the high-intensity class, which lived up to its name: challenging, yet still manageable. The instructor, Justyna, was incredibly warm and encouraging, with a calm, grounded energy that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The highlight?  The class begins with setting an intention, which brings a subtle yoga-inspired element to the session. It’s a refreshing contrast to a more traditional Lagree class, and something we really appreciated, starting in a calm, grounded state before moving into the intensity of the workout.

The downside? Parking can be a bit tricky in the area, although this feels like nitpicking, as it’s hard to fault the place otherwise. If anything, it just makes us wonder how busy it might get during peak summer season.

Overall, House of Yage really stands out from other studios in Marbella. It’s difficult to compare it to Palm Sporting Club, as the atmosphere and teaching style are completely different — each offers its own unique experience.

Honestly, the best way to understand it is to try it for yourself. Rather than choosing one over the other, we’d happily go back to both. House of Yage is perfect for days when you want to disconnect and ease into a more mindful, relaxed workout, while still getting a solid session in.

It’s also currently available on ClassPass, making it the ideal opportunity to give it a try and it’s safe to say, you won’t be disappointed.
